I've lived in Liberty Village for about 6 months now. One of the greatest things about Liberty is how easy and efficient it is to get things done. I can take a 90 second walk right to the centre of the village, and do all of the following in 500 metres of each other: hit the bank, grab a coffee, go to the grocery store, get some new kicks at the Nike store, get my wine for the weekend, stop at the office and send an email, and grab a bite at one of the many local pubs / restaurants.
Thinking of moving here? Think no more, this is the place for all; young families, young professionals, whatever. Come to Liberty, and feel like you're part of a community that cares about one another.
Also, you'll probably never find a place that is as dog friendly as Liberty. So whether you have 4 legs or two, come to Liberty Village and enjoy the magic.
I've lived in a couple of neighbourhoods downtown, and hands down Liberty Village is my favourite. It's like its own village, everyone is a familiar face and nice to each other, you really get that community vibe in Liberty Village unlike any other Toronto condo neighbourhood.
Then theres all the shops, bars and brunch spots. Everything is conveniently located in the central strip. And the mix of old Toronto with the new really gives this place character.
I've lived right next to Liberty Village for about 3 years now and it's a fantastic neighborhood! All major services within walking distance, and the community is always out and about enjoying that convince. If you are a dog person you are going to make more friends then you have time for, as its seems everyone is always walking theirs. This is definitely a neighborhood I would move into, but living next to is a nice consolidation prize.
I have only lived in Liberty Village for 8 months now. However, the sense of community I feel here is second to absolutely none - and that says a lot in Toronto where there exist dozens of well-defined pockets throughout the city. Being within distance to every amenity a resident could need is a rare commodity in Toronto, but Liberty Village boasts a moment's walk to grocery, fitness, dining, and entertainment. I love it here!
As someone who is new to the Liberty area, my verdict is simple: I love it here! Liberty Village is its own little community filled with awesome restaurants and pubs, and shops that offer everything you could possibly need. Liberty is hands down one of my favourite areas in Toronto.
I've been coming to Liberty Village every week for about 2 months now due to many of my friends living here. I have enjoyed my time here so much that I am considering a new move here this summer. Overall, Liberty is a great place that's full of life and would 10/10 recommend spending a sunny weekend here (Hear Brazen Head has a great rooftop patio too ;)
I absolutely love the Liberty Village area. It has a small town feel in a big city!
LOVE LIBERTY VILLAGE! Best neighbourhood in Toronto - Great people, fantastic local businesses, and amazing restaurants.
Liberty Village is my go-to neighborhood for relaxing, enjoying good food and hanging with friends. Definitely one of my favourite neighborhoods in Toronto.
Liberty Village has everything you need, wrapped in one beautiful package. Whether it's buying groceries or going out with friends, you'll find what you need here.
I love this area. You're going to love it too :)
I drive to Liberty Village everyday and there is always parking available around the restaurant and bars, especially Brazen Head, the home of Toronto FC!
